I live in Sutton where I am an active member of the community.  My major project  for 2019/20  is helping Sutton Scout Group build a new HQ.

I have two children, both attend Witchford Village College, my daughter is in Year 9 and my son is in Year 11.

Why did you become a governor?

Schools are very important and special places. Often at the heart of a local community, they are key to a child's development and his/her future.

I look back fondly on my schooldays, though I recognise not everyone does!

I am keen to support the students of Witchford Village College reach their potential, not only academically but emotionally, physically and socially too.

I enjoy being part of a team which works together to make a difference. I  hope I can make positive contribution to the Board of Governors as it performs the role of critical friend, to help the students, staff and the College as a whole, go from strength to strength.
