Learners are required to bring their own ingredients.

Brief Description:
This course is aimed at anybody who wants to try their hand at making delicious Indian breads from scratch. Learners will acquire the skills and knowledge to make:

• naan bread – made with wheat flour and grilled, can be flavoured with garlic and served with your favourite curry.
• pooris - a popular Indian bread made with wheat flour which puff up when deep-fried, will impress your guests!

Suitable for all levels, no cooking experience required.

Course Aims:
• Learn how to cook naan bread and pooris from scratch
• Develop culinary skills and knowledge
• Build confidence in the kitchen

Extra Costs:
Learners are required to bring their own ingredients. Most ingredients will be available from local supermarkets. Tutor is also willing to bring in certain spices / flours and charge learners per teaspoon / cup used. Advance notice required.

INDIAN CURRY & RICE (VEGETARIAN)

Learners are required to bring their own ingredients.

Brief Description:
This course is aimed at anybody who wants to try their hand at making delicious Indian food from scratch. Learners will acquire the skills and knowledge to make:

• A sweet potato and fresh green Kenyan bean curry with a coconut milk based sauce
• Jeera rice – a restaurant style Indian rice dish flavoured with cumin (goes well with most curries)

You will learn how combining spices and herbs can produce great tasting food using simple everyday ingredients.

Suitable for all levels, no cooking experience required.
