SPANISH FOR BEGINNERS (TERM 2)
Tuesday 7 May for 9 weeks
7.00pm – 9.00pm
This course is entering its second term. It is suitable for learners who have been studying Spanish for at least one term (18 hours of tuition) or for those returning to study after a longer break.
Learners will be able to experience Spanish culture by getting to know some of the cultural events in the different areas around Spain or South America where Spanish is spoken.
Your tutor is a Spanish native.
The basic skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening will be developed. A variety of activities will be used, including group or pair work, role-plays and games

• Be able to use greetings
• Understand the importance of the pronounication of the Spanish alphabet and be able to engage in a simple exchange of personal information
• Learn numbers from 1 to 100 and countries and to be able to engage in a small conversation about age and nationality
• Being able to describe other individuals and family members and use reflexive verbs to talk about ourselves as well as our daily routines with opinions
• Being able to have a conversation about different activities you do in your free time while practising the conjugation of the Spanish verbs
