FUN WITH DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Brief Description:

This course is suitable for beginners and those who wish to develop their skills further. It will appeal to learners who want to go in depth exploring digital photography settings and take full control over their cameras.

Practical and fun, this course is hands-on experience on what your digital camera can do and the way you use it. All sessions are about creating and doing, using every day items to create interesting photographs, simultaneously learning how to use your DSLR or bridge camera to its full potential. You will have the chance to explore and master each setting individually through a series of practical exercises (both in and outdoors, weather permitting).

The course will provide you with a platform to: acquire practical skills in your chosen photography subject (portraiture, macro, landscape, wildlife, sport photography, etc.), discuss your work with fellow photographers, exchange ideas and experience, and research well-known photographers.

An element of computer editing is included. You need to be able to upload images online.

Course Aims:

• Confidently use your digital camera to create images within your chosen field / favourite subject
• Know in detail the relationship between various camera settings and be able to use them to achieve specific desired results
• Produce a portfolio of images within their chosen subject
• Perform image editing and output images for various applications (i.e. print. digital, website) using computer software

If you are intending to purchase a new camera, it is advisable not to make any purchase until the course is confirmed as running.
