EVENT #1 - LOCKDOWN LONG JUMP
Aim: How far can you jump?
Description: Set up a tape measure. You have 3 attempts to perform a standing broad jump. Begin behind the start line and jump two feet to two feet. Measure at the heel.
Scoring: You have 3 attempts. Record your best distance in metres and submit your best score.
EVENT #2 - HOUSEHOLD HURDLES
Aim: How many hurdles can you jump?
Description: You need to be able to create your own hurdle to jump over (e.g. you might want to use two chairs and a broom). How many times can you jump over the hurdle in 15 seconds?
Scoring: You have 3 attempts. Record and submit your best score.
EVENT #3 - SOCIAL DISTANCING SPRINTING
Aim: How fast can you run?
Description: Set up two objects that are approximately 5 metres apart. Complete 10 sets and record the time you get. There and back = 1 set.
Scoring: You have 3 attempts. Record your best time in seconds and submit your score.
EVENT #4 - MOTIVATING MARATHON
Aim: How far can you run?
Description: Run any distance you like and time yourself. Use your phone and capture a screen shot of the time and distance.
Scoring: The house that complete the greatest overall distance will win.
EVENT #5 - STAY AT HOME SHOT PUT
Aim: How accurate is your throw?
Description: Place a target (box, hoop, washing basket) and take 8 large steps backwards.
Using a rolled up pair of socks or a ball, use the shot put technique to try and land in the target.
Scoring: You have 10 throws. Score 1 point for every shot to land in the basket.
EVENT #6 - SPOT THE RUNNER
Aim: How long can you keep running on the spot?
Description: Run on the spot and see how long you can keep going without stopping. Once you stop, your time stops!
Scoring: You get 1 point for every 10 seconds you complete.
EVENT #7 - HOMEMADE HIGH JUMP
Aim: How high can you jump?
Description: Perform a vertical jump. Stand next to a wall or a door frame. Reach up as high as you can and note where the tips of your hand reaches (use sticky tape or blue tack to mark the spot).
Jump as high as you can and stick another piece of tape/blue tack as you jump on the highest point.
Measure the difference.
Scoring: You have 3 attempts. Record your best distance in metres and submit your best score.
EVENT #8 - TRY AT HOME TRIPLE JUMP
Aim: How far can you triple jump?
Description: Set up a tape measure.
You have 3 attempts to perform a standing triple jump.
1. Perform a hop (1 foot to the same 1 foot).
2. A step (1 foot to the other 1 foot).
3. A jump (1 foot to 2 feet).
Scoring: You have 3 attempts. Record your best distance in metres and submit.

COMPLETE ALL CHALLENGES If you complete all the challenges, you will earn your house an extra 500 points!
