Student Experience

Here at Witchford Village College we take the holistic development of each child as a high priority. With this in mind, we endeavour to ensure that all students have a fulfilling and rewarding experience whilst under our care, which supports them in achieving their goals and future aspirations.

Our wide and varied Extra Curricular clubs programme, ensures that there is something for everyone and to guarantee no one misses out, we run a free an after school bus service Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The introduction of our Student Council, which has representatives elected via the student body, is an active and well-received opportunity that is open to students from Years 7 to 10. Regular meetings with the Assistant Principal responsible for Student Experience and Curriculum, means that the opinions of our young people can be heard.

At the college, we take the safeguarding and inclusion of our students very seriously, hence adopting The SHARP System (Student Help Advice Reporting Page System) last year. This system allows our students to report any incidents, which occur within the College and local community, anonymously and without fear. This is to raise awareness on a wide range of subjects including Bullying, Health and Community issues.

The SHARP system can be accessed by both the student area on our website (insert link) and Edulink, and we would encourage all students to use this if they have any concerns.

Witchford Village College offers a complete and well-rounded experience for every student so they can all imagine, believe and achieve.
